Watermelon is the fruit of a plant originally from a vine of southern Africa.
According to Webster’s dictionary and Wikipedia, a fruit is the ripened ovary of a seed plant and its contents, and a watermelon is a large oblong roundish fruit. According to Webster’s dictionary a vegetable is anything made or obtained from plants. It is planted from seeds or seedlings, harvested, and then cleared from the field like other vegetables. Since watermelon is grown as a vegetable crop using vegetable production systems, watermelon is considered a vegetable.



A pearl is mostly calcium carbonate, which is susceptible to even a weak acid solution. The crystals of calcium carbonate are converted by vinegar into calcium, which dissolves in the residual water.

Split Blog Post

I haven't read tht far in the book. I'm only on page 20. So far what has happened is Jace has went looking for his older brother Christian and he ends up finding him but only with the last name of Marshall. He rings the buzzer for Christian to let him in and he says "It's Fed Ex." Jace had gained entry and when he knocks on the door, Christian looks at him and is shocked. He has his girlfriend leave when she asks if she should and she leaves. They go and eat and aft his place after the meal they both go back to Christians and he invites Jace to stay at his place and to sleep on the couch. That's as far as I've gotten in the book.

Below is a picture of the Fed Ex truck to signify the roaring truck in the background which helped Jace gain entry to his older brothers place.

Reading

I havent't found a book that I would enjoy reading that I currently have access to so I chose to read the news paper. The only thing I found interesting in the news paper was the sports section. I read about the Super Bowl with how much money they make, how they have 30,000 sq feet of each type of product. the other thing is they said that "Tim Tebow has seen his last down in a Jets jersey." The score of the Pro Bowl was AFC-35, NFC-62.

Knowing Poe

Poe is a very creepy and strange writer but his writing is very good. His ways are different but i enjoy is. the street he lived on reminds me of a movie called Amityville. its about a house possesed by satan.

Dust & Decay by Jonathan Maberry

The series has been nothing less than amazing. The books are keeping me hooked and i never enjoyed reading. The series is something that is interesting to me. Something that keeps me wanting to read more and more. I have finished the first book Called Rot & Ruin and have started on the second one Dust & Decay. In the first book they found the lost girl ( Lilah) and she carries over into the second book as a new member of the team along with Tom, Benny, Chong, Morgie, and Nix. They are planning a trip after they find a jet to see if there are places in the world that people have taken back from the zombies and to seek a different place to live with other survivers (if there are any) and to take the world back from the zombies piece by piece. I'm looking forward to finishing this book and reading Flesh & Bone and the fourth book coming out in 2013 which is called Fire & Ash. Passage ------> "Six months have passed since the terrifying battle with Charlie Pink-eye and the Motor City Hammer in the zombie-infested mountains of the Rot & Ruin. It’s also six months since Benny Imura and Nix Riley saw something in the air that changed their lives.
